Our story…
Good River Woodworking is a local, family-owned business based out of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Co-founders Daniel and Grace Trimble have put together their love of woodworking and marketing to start their dream business.
Originally from Mentor, they spent the past seven years in Raleigh, North Carolina. Now back in the midwest, they are looking forward to being near family and experiencing crisp falls again.
With Good River, they hope to create beloved woodworking pieces that will stay in your family home forever.

Woodworking isn’t just a job for us, it’s our passion. In a world that’s accustomed to producing things quickly and cheaply, we value creating pieces with intention. We handcraft every project with attention to detail, using quality, durable materials.

Meet the Team
Daniel Trimble
Owner, Head Woodworker
Daniel Trimble has worked in custom woodworking for the past ten years, and has owned and operated his own business in North Carolina for five.
While he received his degree in Construction Management from Kent State University in 2017, he’s picked up most of his woodworking knowledge on the job.
Somehow he doesn’t work with wood enough, and spent the last year building his own canoe for fun in his free time.
Grace Trimble is a marketer and project manager by trade, though her true love is writing.
Any opportunity to be creative and tell a story, she’s in, which is why she convinced her husband to let her join him in his latest business venture.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from the University of Michigan in 2017. Sorry Buckeye fans—Go Blue!
